FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — It turns out meetings to determine the status of a project tend to have negative impact on productivity.

A new poll by Clarizen finds that three out of five employees say preparing for a meeting takes longer, than the meeting itself.

Given the choice, they say they’d rather do other unpleasant activities, such as waiting in line at the DMV, or watching paint dry on the wall.

Clarizen says in today’s workforce, ditch the unnecessary meeting, and encourage the team to boost productivity.
