FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Diesel is most expensive in the Golden State, but prices are dropping substantially.

They’re now around the $3 dollars-a-gallon mark. That has truck drivers planning more long-haul trips.

Diesel hit a high of $5.24 a gallon back in 2008.

But, with the decline in crude prices, the cost of fuel has fallen drastically.
