SAN FRANCISCO (Courtesy of KMJ's News Partner – CBS 5 San Francisco) — San Francisco police are on the hunt for a man dubbed the “botox bandit” after he walked out without paying for plastic surgery treatments.
Surveillance images show the middle-aged man walking into Dr. Larry Fan’s office Monday.
Police say the man received thousands of dollars worth of fillers and laser treatments, then ran out without paying. Fan said the man was nervous from the beginning of the visit.
“He wanted to provide as little information as he could. He was hesitant to provide a phone number and an e-mail address,” Fan said.
Dr. Fan says the man may have hit other local medical offices as well.
“There was a description of probably the exact same person – a tall, muscular man who wanted the exact same thing – botox, fillers and laser treatment,” Fan said.
There are a couple of telltale signs that could help identify the Botox Bandit – at least for the next week or so. His face will look like it's sunburned from the chemical peel, and he'll have swelling and bruising from the Botox treatment.
