STOCKTON (KMJ/CBS 13 SACRAMENTO) — Two thieves have been targeting packages left on front porches.
Homes in Stockton have been falling victim to the thefts – with one of them caught on a home security system.
In the video – a white pick up is seen pulling up outside, a woman gets out, approaches the door, collects the package, then jogs back to the truck which then drives away.
Police describe the woman as a heavyset white or hispanic – with long red hair. the video of the crime is below.
According to police, a couple of other residents on Winding River Circle have reported package thefts as well.
In one incident, the suspects appear to have seen a US Mail carrier deliver a package to a home, because police say the suspects drove by the carrier then came back six minutes late to grab the box.
Little information on the suspected driver has been given. However, the truck used in the thefts looks to be a 90s-model Nissan with a front license plate slight bent outward at the bottom.
