(KMJ) – A tour bus carrying the road crew of Country and Gospel singer Josh Turner went off a highway in San Luis Obispo County, killing one and injuring seven.
Cal Fire and the Highway Patrol say neither Turner nor his band were on the bus when it went off of Highway 46 near Shandon, east of Paso Robles. Investigators say the bus went off the road and down a 100-foot embankment just before midnight.
Turner had just wrapped up a concert at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles.
The cause of this crash remains under investigation.
