Tulare Co. Woman Gets Life for DUI Murders

TULARE, Calif. (KMJ) — A south valley woman has been sentenced to life in prison for a pair of DUI murders.

Court documents say 28-year-old Cheyenne Wyllie of Springville ran a stop sign in 2016, slammed into a minivan, and killed a 69-year-old woman, along with a 10-year-old girl.

Wyllie’s BAC was almost 3 times the legal limit.

She’ll have to serve more than 19 years behind bars, before she’s eligible for parole.
