FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Fresno Police have arrested one man for a robbery outside the Buy Buy Baby store in Riverpark.
Police said the suspects were carrying guns when they robbed two women and an infant at the Northeast Fresno shopping center
Lieutenant Stephen Viveros says it happened in broad daylight at around 1:00pm on Sunday afternoon.
“They demanded one of the wallets from one of the victims. The victim turned over the wallet and the two suspects fled in a four-door sedan,” said Lieutenant Viveros.
The car was later found abandoned.
Through witness statements and surveillance video of the vehicle, Police identified two Fresno men as suspects.
21-year-old Christopher Kollenkark turned himself in to police on Tuesday, August 20, and was booked into the Fresno County Jail for one count of robbery.
