Raw Milk Recall

The California Department of Food and Agriculture says raw milk produced and packaged by Valley Milk Simply Bottled of Stanislaus County is the focus of a statewide recall and quarantine.

The order was announced by California State Veterinarian, Dr. Annette Jones.

The quarantine order follows the confirmed detection of the bacteria Campylobacter jejuni in the farm’s packaged raw whole milk sampled.

Those samples were tested by the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

The raw milk is sold in one-gallon plastic jugs and consumers are strongly urged to dispose of any product remaining in their refrigerators that was purchased or received on 3/11/19 through 3/19/19.

No illnesses have been reported.
