Two Arrested for Hanging Dogs, Beating Them to Death with Sticks

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Two people are arrested in Orosi for hanging dogs, then beating them to death with sticks.

On Wednesday at 8 p.m., Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were called to an address in the 14200 block of Ave 428 on a complaint of animal cruelty.

On arrival, Deputies found two dead dogs.

Tulare County Sheriff Detectives then took over the investigation.

Through their investigation, Detectives determined 51 year-old Angel Perez Valencia (below) and his 18 year-old nephew, Carlos Rivera, (above) to be responsible for the deaths of the two adult dogs.

Detectives learned that Valencia and Rivera (above) suspected the dogs killed their baby pigs.

So, they hung both dogs and beat them to death with sticks.

Both suspects were arrested and booked at the Pre-Trial Facility on multiple animal cruelty charges.
