FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Two adult store employees are evacuated in Fresno after a white substance is sent in envelope.
It happened just before noon on Tuesday at Suzie’s Adult Superstore at 1267 N. Blackstone.
They opened the envelope and saw a white substance in foil.
That’s when they called for help.
Fresno Fire Spokesman Robert Castillo said the substance turned out to methamphetamine wrapped in foil.
“Our Type 1 Hazmat Team responded, they evacuated two employees and kinda isolated the area. Our Hazmat team made entry, they retrieved the product. They were able to test it and it tested positive for methamphetamine.” said Fire Spokesperson Castillo.
No one was injured.
It’s unclear who sent the envelope. The case is now in the hands of Fresno PD.
