Shopper Beat-Up During Violent Robbery Outside Southwest Fresno Market

 

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A man beats up and robs a shopper outside of a Southwest Fresno Market.

Around 7:00 pm on September 8th, Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says the violent robbery took place outside the Valentine Market at the intersection of Valentine and Church Avenues.

 

 

Surveillance video shows a tan or pewter colored, late 1990s to early 2000s Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon parking across the street from the store.

The driver, a heavy set man wearing shorts, a t-shirt, white shoes and a dark hat walks over and ambushes a man putting items into his vehicle.

The suspect attacks him from behind; beating him up and taking his wallet.

 

The suspect then runs back to his SUV and drives away.

 

 

 

He is described as being white or Hispanic, in his 20s, 30s or 40s, with a medium complexion.
