2 Teenage Girls from Tulare Get Sick From Marijuana, Another Teen in Custody for Giving it to Them

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Two teenage girls from Tulare get sick from marijuana, another teen is in custody for allegedly giving it to them.

Around 7:30 Friday morning, Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a school bus stop in front of Goshen Elementary School, where EMS and school staff were with the girls.

Deputies learned that a 16-year-old boy gave the girls concentrated marijuana, and both ate a small amount.

One girl immediately began to show signs of sickness.

Medical staff on scene treated both girls, sending one to Kaweah Delta Hospital as a precaution.

The girls were later released to the custody of their parents/guardian(s).

Deputies took the 16-year old boy into custody for sales and distribution of cannabis.
