The State Water Resources Control Board says that staff revised the agenda for the August 21st and 22nd board meeting.
It means final action on the proposed update to the water quality control plan which includes diverting water from San Joaquin tributaries will occur at a future board meeting.
The Water Resources Control Board says continuing the meeting will provide the board members with an additional opportunity to weigh and consider the comments received on this complex and critical decision prior to a final action.
Anyone interested in providing comments to the board should do so at the August 21-22 meeting in Sacramento, since there may not be further opportunities for voiced comments.
