FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The Tulare Police Department says a Tulare Union High School teacher has been arrested for reportedly having sex with a student.
Police say 50-year-old Angela Holguin Webb is also a volleyball coach.
They say the relationship with the former student lasted 3 1/2 years while the student attended classes at Tulare Union.
The incident was brought to the department on June 20, so the investigation in the early stages, but police say the student confirmed the relationship to detectives.
Webb was arrested at her home Friday morning and booked into the Tulare County Women’s facility.
