Fugitive Added To Fresno County Sheriff’s Top 10 Most Wanted Criminals in Hiding

 

 

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A Tulare man who has been identified as a suspect in the May 30, 2018 murder of 41 year-old Adam Hernandez, Sr., of Tulare, has been added to the Sheriff’s Top 10 Most Wanted Criminals in Hiding.

The suspect, 38 year-old Gerardo Lopez, of Tulare, is believed to be driving a white 2005 Chevrolet van with license plate number 8Y31854 similar to the one pictured be.

 

 

 

On May 30, 2018, Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit began a homicide investigation regarding the death of Hernandez, Sr., who was shot and killed after a physical altercation in the area of Road 140 and Avenue 228, in Tulare.

Detectives identified Lopez as the person responsible for Hernandez’s murder.

Detectives served multiple search warrants at residences in the Tulare area in connection to this murder.

Lopez fled the area shortly after the shooting and could still be driving the van.
