Governor Brown Attends World Economic Forum Discussing Climate Action

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – California Governor Jerry Brown is in New York City for the World Economic Forum.

Leaders from government and business are just some of participants at the two day World Economic Forum being held during the UN General Assembly.

Governor Brown is among the different stakeholders all working to reduce the world’s carbon footprint and tackle climate change.

Governor Brown spoke with the French Ecology Minister Nicolas Hulot about nailing down the date to ban combustion cars, while reducing the use of gasoline is a conversation they hope to have later with the business sectors.

Groups also are exploring how technology could be better leveraged for sustainable development.
